Jammu, Jan 17: In a bizarre incident four youths roughed up a person who resisted eve teasing in Narwal the outskirt locality of Jammu city, police sources said.
Police sources said that the injured has been identified as Ravi of Narwal area. Meanwhile sources also identified accused namely as Deepak, Manoj, Darshan and Karela.
Quoting the two daughters (whose name withheld) of injured Ravi, police sources said that some youth of their locality who used to pass lewd comments and often misbehave with them also. "When they reported the matter to their father who went to them and objected their action, sources said adding, "infuriated over this the youths roughed up the complainant."
The injured was hospitalized and a case under FIR 11/2015 under sections 452, 147, 148, 323, 336 and 427 of RPC against four above mentioned youths.
However, in-charge police post said that besides this case both the families have pending rivalry and all are relatives and case in this connection has been registered and further investigations are on.
