| MVD organizes road shows | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Jan 17 : On the concluding day of Road Safety week, road shows were organized by Motor Vehicle Department Reasi in collaboration with traffic police across the district.
The whole program was conducted under the supervision of ARTO Reasi -Rajesh Gupta. Slogans and Nukkad Nataks on Road safety rules were performed at different places.
Public gathered and showed interest in reading slogans and watching nukkad nataks. They appreciated the activity.
ARTO Rajesh Gupta while addressing the gathering at Reasi said that such programs are aimed at educating general public and drivers about road safety.
He added that it has become imperative to inculcate good traffic sense and knowledge amongst the children and youth who would soon become torch bearers of tomorrows. DTI-Rajesh Jammal, MVD Inspector-Vikas Srivats and large number of people were present on the occasion.
Film shows on "sadak suraksha ka gyan deta-hai jeevandan" were screened in various schools so as to educate students about road safety. |
