Mega cultural event organized at Kishtwar 1/18/2015 12:21:41 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Jan 17 : Department of Information Kishtwar today organized a colourful cultural event on the eve of valedictory function of five days teachers training course at DIET Kishtwar. According to press release, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik was the chief guest in the program while Principal DIET KHwaja Tariq Hussain was the guest of honor. DTO Kishtwar Yasir Rather,DIO Kishtwar Viney Sharma, HODs of various streams in DIET besides almost 200 teachers, media persons and other people also attend the program . Local singer of Kishtwar Nisar Doolwal and other artists mesmerized the audience with their beautiful songs and gazals in Kashmiri, Urdu and Hindi. The Kashmiri gazals written by famous poet Late Ghulam Nabi Doolwal (Janbaaz Kishtwari) remain the special attraction of the program. Incharge HOD Mathematics DIET Mehboob Qazi conducted the proceedings of the program. Speaking on the occasion, the ADC Kishtwar said that such type of cultural programs not only refresh the mind of audience but also promote the cultural traditions of the society. He assured funds for renovation of multipurpose hall of Boys Higher Secondary School Kishtwar where several high level programs were held in recent past.
