3 notices issued for Biennial Elections for 4 RS seats from J&K 1/21/2015 10:41:37 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 21: Returning Officer for Biennial Election to the Council of States (Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly) M. Ramzan today issued three notices for Biennial Election for 4 Rajya Sabha (RS) seats from Jammu and Kashmir State. As per notice the elections to four Members to the Council of States by the elected members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is to be held on 7th of February 2015 in the premises of J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 p.m. The nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his proposers to the Returning officer situated in the premises of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Jammu between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on any day (other than public holiday) not later than Wednesday, the 28th January, 2015. The forms of nomination papers may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid. The nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at the office of the Returning Officer (Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly) or to the Assistant Returning Officer (Deputy Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly) in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Jammu on Thursday, the 29th of January, 2015 at 11 a.m. Notice of withdrawal of candidature has to be delivered either by a candidate or by any of his proposers or by his election agent (who has been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it) to either of the officers specified in paragraph-2 of the said Notifications.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
