MENDHAR, Jan 21: Two health department employees were today placed under suspension for dereliction of duties while four others, including a doctor, were chargesheeted for not observing dress code. During a surprise checking of health sub-centre by him at Uchad near here in the morning, block medical officer (BMO), Dr Pravez Ahmad Khan found MPWs (multi-purpose workers) - Neetu Bala and Zahid Begum - absent from duties, according to official sources. He ordered their suspension and also withheld their salaries, the sources added. During checking of primary health centre, Mankote, the BMO found that Dr Muzaffar Ahmad, MPW Praveen Akhtar, laboratory technician Mohammad Jehangir and sweeper Mehmood Ahmad were allegedly not observing dress code, sources said. All the four were chargesheeted by the BMO, sources informed. |
