Jammu, Jan 21: National Council for Urban Rural Development Society (NCURDS) Jammu on Wednesday organized a program to facilitate the child scientists of J&K who had made to nationals in the 22nd NCSC-2014 which has recently held at Bangalore organized by KRVP, Bangalore and Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. According to press release, the program was presided over by Vice Principal, SIE, Jammu SK Raina, whereas Joint Director Education Jammu Ajeet Kumar, were guest of honor. Earlier, Zaffar Ullah Khan State Coordinator NCSC-J&K after welcoming the child scientists, Guide teachers and District Coordinator of NCSC highlighted the achievements of NCSC in recent past. Kuldeep Gupta, State Academic Coordinator, NCSC-J&K gave detailed account of the various activities to be under taken in 2015 to uplift NCSC in J&K. The child scientists and group leaders who were awarded medals and certificate include a group of Heritage School, Sainik Colony Jammu lead by Aryan Sethi, A group of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Jammu lead by Nidhi Singh, Gourav Rajput of Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Chahat Suryavanshi of Learning Temple English Medium High School, Kathua, Akhilash Angurana of Happy Model School, Udhampur, Harshdeep Singh of Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu and Mandeep Singh of Sharon Public School, Udhampur. Speaking on the occasion SK Raina landed the efforts of NCURDS in uplifting the science and scientific temperament of the students and teachers in general which is the dire need of the hour. The proceeding of the program was carried out in a coherent way by Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Chairman NCSC-J&K whereas vote of thanks was given by Arshad Hussain Dev. Among others who attended the program included OP Bhagat, Mohammad Sharief field advisor, SIE Jammu, Arshad Hussain Dev. Zeeshan Zaffar Khan, Prashant Verma and Dev Sahu. |
