Jammu, Jan 21: All Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers' Forum extended supported the protest call of Teachers' Forum at Jantar Mantar on January 30th regarding SSA salary issue.
According to press release, this was announced at an emergency meeting of ReT Teachers Forum held at Udhampur on Wednesday under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma.
Addressing the gathering, Vinod Sharma urged the Governor NN Vohara to personally intervene as regularized ReT Teachers under SSA in the whole state are without salary for last 4 to 10 months and are on the verge of starvation. He said that they had projected this issue before the previous state government and the present central government many times but nothing has been done to resolve the SSA salary issue.
He said that they fully support the protest call and similar protests would be held in near future if whole pending SSA salary is not released at the earliest.
Among others who were presented in the meeting included Lekh Raj Parihar, Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Parmod Sharma, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Ravinder Singh, Bhushan Khajuria and others. |
