KATRA, Jan 21: The district administration is organising a series of programmes in the run-up to the National Voters' Day to be observed on January 25. As part of it, a painting competition was held on "Importance of Vote" at Katra.
Students from Government Higher Secondary School, Katra and Govt. High School Katra took part in the competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Project Officer, DRDA Dr Jagdish Mehra emphasized on the need for every person aged above 18 to get him or herself registered as a voter. He also exhorted the people to use their right to vote properly and called upon all sections to take part in the events for making them success.
