Puneet’s salvo batting ensures JKP XI’s victory in Police Martyrs’ T20 tourney 1/21/2015 11:00:02 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Jan.21: Puneet’s Salvo batting with 82 runs in 30 balls ensured easy victory of JKP XI’s team in ongoing 5th Police Martyrs’ T20 Tournament in Sports Stadium Kathua. He was later on declared as Man of the Match. JKP XI won the toss and decided to bat first where team scored 160 runs in the loss of 6 wickets. Puneet scored 82 runs in 30 balls with 6 Fours and 7 Sixes where Jatin scored 38 in 40 balls with 3 Fours and 1 six. Rajneesh from MPS Sports Club, Kurukshetra took 3 wickets. MPS Sports Club, in the aim to chase the huge score, could succeed in scoring only 120 and lost the match. Kuldeep from JKP XI took 3 wickets. Pawan Parihar, SSP Kathua, who was the captain of the JKP XI team, appreciated the team work and salvo batting being played by Puneet and Jatin.
