Kathua, Jan 21: The management of Learning Temple English Medium High School, Kathua organized a Bicycle rally to spread the message of sound mind in sound body in which more than 75 students and 10 staff members including Er. Naresh Kumar, Chairman of the School rode Bicycle right from the School Ground to Govt. Degree College, Kathua and came back through Shaheedi Chowk, Old Bus Stand, Mukherjee Chowk.
Mohamad Nazir Sheikh, R.T.O. Kathua flagged off the Bicycle rally while Dr. Bharat Bhushan, CEO, Lakhanpur-Sarthal Development Authority whistled.
While addressing to participants, Md. Nazir Sheikh, RTO Kathua appreciated the effort being taken by the School to give a message to the Students, all youngsters and the old to use Bicycles in daily life and brotherhood for the development of the nation. He said that the bicycle is safe, economical and health-making. Dr. Bharat Bhushan said the Cycle is the best and eco-friendly mode of transport, which helps us to save from many diseases like Knee & other Muscular problems.
Er. Naresh Kumar, Chairman of the school said the main theme of the Bicycle Road is to create awareness amongst the students and public at large to prefer use of bicycles to Motor Cycles & other vehicles.
Er Said “cycle is a best mode of exercise, doctors are advising patients to use cycles to get rid of health problems.”
The parents, general public and the spectators of the city highly appreciated this effort of the school. Madam Pallavi Hans thanked all VIPs and staff and the participants. |
