Army launches Swachh Bharat campaign 1/21/2015 11:03:13 PM Early Times Report Mendhar, Jan 21: Balnoi Battalion under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade organized the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan here today taking forward the national campaign to spread awareness towards cleanliness. Mohmad Aftab, Sarpanch of Sagra village and Nambardars of Balnoi, Gani and Achad villages along with more than 300 locals including children joined hands with the Indian Army personnel and participated in the cleanliness of School, Roads, Public places and the banks of Mendhar river. The cleanliness drive was undertaken with great enthusiasm & the initiative of Indian Army being deeply appreciated by the AWAM, promising to continue their support in Nation Building. The event was graced by the presence of Commanding Officer, Balnoi Battalion who while interacting with the local stressed on the importance of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness especially for the children who will be the future of our Nation.
