| GDC Bishnah organizes prize distribution function | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Red Ribbon Club of GDC Bishnah organized a prize distribution function under the supervision of Dr. Suman Charak Convener RRC and Dr. Rupinder Kour Finance Officer on Wednesday.
According to press release, proceedings of the programme were initiated by Dr. Suman Charak by welcoming the chief guest Former MLA Bishnah Ashwani Kumar Sharma followed by presentation of bouquet by Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the College and lightning of traditional lamp by the Chief guest. In the beginning Jasmeet, Neha & Harmeet presented a song "Itni Shakti Hamein Dena Data".
Dr. Suman Charak read out a brief report of the event organized under the RRC banner and highlighted various issues undertaken during the activities. Two RRC members Pooja and Monika Kaith spoke on 'Live and Let Live'. They stressed upon to show love and benevolence to the HIV/ AIDS victims and strengthen them psychologically and spiritually so that they may not feel neglected or ignored.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLA Bishnah Ashwani Kumar Sharma while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the slogan "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao" for encouragement of female community. He distributed trophies and certificates among the winners & participants of various activities of RRC. |
