GMCH Jammu Principal's favourite Chowkidaar | Overstaying in Guest House goes unabated, unpunished | | Bivek Mathur Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: A chowkidaar who once bypassed the authority of GMCH, Jammu Principal and lodged an FIR against a poor woman to plan her expulsion from the post of helper in the GMC Guest House solely to hide his own misdeeds has become favourite of GMCH, Jammu Principal Dr. Ghansham Dev that Principal is not caring for norms even. The stay of this Chowkidaar Ravi Sharma is more than three years in the GMC&H, Jammu's Guest House cum Medical Faculty Club (MFC) which is against the set transfer policy but having some political influence, the said Chowkidaar has made a strong footing over there. However applications have been invited from the aspirants for the 1 post of female cook and caretaker of Government Guest House through NRHM and vide publicity in print media in the month of November 2014 and interviews for the said post also stands conducted but till date results have not been declared owing to the apathy of the GMC&H administration. The lady who was ousted from the Guest House-Surinder Kour through a conspiracy that was hatched by this Chowkidaar to allegedly run healthy business within the Guest House is now claiming that she was not even paid her monthly salary which had been accumulated to the tune of Rs. 8000. GMC&H, Jammu Principal Dr. Ghansham said that posts have been advertised through print media last year and applications have been invited from the aspiring candidates and within week the process would be completed to appoint the deserving candidate on the post of cook cum caretaker of the MFC. Pertinently this Chowkidaar started working with the former Principal S Rajinder Singh who had given him two rooms at his own residence and later on started handling affairs of Guest House cum Medical Faculty Club and till date he has not been transferred in violation of norms. |
