14 posts of Junior Staff Nurses advertised in 2011, yet to be filled JK SSRB leaves aspirants in dilemma 2/12/2015 12:35:29 AM Bivek Mathur Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 11: Official apathy to execute the process of holding written tests, interviews for various advertised jobs and to issue timely notices to the aspirants in this context is certainly one of the reasons for the rising graph of unemployment in the Jammu and Kashmir, but astoundingly, the political leadership has not initiated steps to fix accountability on recruiting agencies. In a similar case, Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Recruitment Board (JK SSRB) has left numbers of aspirants in dilemma as 14 posts of Junior Staff Nurses were advertised by the Board in 2011 in the Health and Medical Education Department District Ramban, but till date the aspirants are awaiting the final list of selected candidates. One of the aspirants Veena Devi, wife of Ranjeet Singh, Resident of Pougal in District Ramban said that a total of 14 posts were advertised in a daily English newspaper of the state with Advertisement notice number 1 of 2011 dated 31-01-2011 item number 881. "Interviews for these 14 posts were conducted on March 26, 2012 for which I appeared along with other aspirants. Later on, SSRB asked only five aspirants including me to submit self attested relevant documents in its Jammu office on 12.03.2013 and Srinagar office on 01.07.2013. Despite submitting relevant self attested documents twice in Jammu as well as Srinagar office of the Board, neither the board has issued the list of selected candidates nor has intimated these five aspirants through any channel which has pushed the aspirants into uncertainty", said Veena Devi. Repeated attempts of Early Times to contact Shagufta Parveen, Chairman of the Board went in vain as after replying to the first phone call and knowing the call was made by Early Times she didn't further answer to over 10 calls made from three different numbers and put her phone on busy mode.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
