RGMCE organizes workshop 2/11/2015 11:21:57 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Feb 11: Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education (RGMCE), Kathua today organized National workshop on 'Methodological Issues in educational Research' in collaboration with DIQA. Prof RD Sharma, Acting Vice- Chancellor of University of Jammu was the chief guest and Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Director; DIQA University of Jammu presided over the inaugural function of 4 days long workshop that commenced today. Chairpersons, Principals and Teachers from different government and private colleges were also present and got benefit to educative instructions being delivered by experts for research in the field of education. Prof. Koul, research expert worked for UGC and NCERT laid down stress on the research based on reality and social issues than following historical researches to merely get awarded with doctorate degree. Dr Meenakshi Kilam hailed the effort being taken by the college to promote educational research in District Kathua. She added that the private colleges also have appropriate infrastructure and staff to apply research techniques and programmes for the development in the field of education and quality education.
