JAMMU, Feb 11: Jammu Division bagged the overall championship trophy in the three-day IInd State Sambo Championship which concluded today at Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, here. Kashmir Division remained overall runners-up in boys' category. Similarly, in girl section, district Kathua secured overall trophy while Jammu remained runners-up. Today's competition officiated by the technical penal comprising Akhil Badkuliya, Kawaljeet Singh, Komal Gupta and Rahil Shafi.
In the valedictory function of the championship, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Dr Nirmal Singh was chief guest, who gave away the title trophies as also other individual prizes. Vicky Jamwal was guest of honour. Also present were MD of host Shastri Memorial School, Ravinder Gupta, Fazal Ahmed, Bal Krishan, Parminder Singh Manhas, Sukhvinder Singh, Rohit Sadhotra and Rajiv Sharma.
