MLA Billawar holds meeting of PWD officials 2/11/2015 11:28:14 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 11: Senior BJP leader and MLA Billawar, Dr Nirmal Singh held a meeting with officials of PWD and reviewed various schemes and projects and their present status. During the meeting Dr Nirmal Singh instructed the officials to speed up the project implementation and complete DPR of Dayalachak- Challan road for conversion into four lane highway. Dr Singh assured the officials that they will be given a suitable environment to work and implement projects where focus should be put on future catering. Dr Singh instructed the officials to the start the second phase of PMGSY works in Billawar constituency. Dr Singh said "The traffic volume has increased on Dayalachak - Challan road of Billawar constituency and now it needs to be converted into four lane highway. "PWD officials should make DPR of this project immediately, he said and assured that he will get the project sanctioned. Dr Singh also took stock of the work done on Kah- Kacheer road , Rajwalta-Kandhenu road which are under the NABARD scheme and asked the officials to speed up the implementation of the projects . Earlier officials apprised Dr Singh of Forest land issue which has halted the Katli-Maroon road via Karnod and Dr Nirmal Singh said that he will speak to Conservator of Forest on this issue.
