GRP Jammu hands over 2 girls to parents

Kathua , Feb 11: Men of GRP Jammu at Kathua played an exemplary role by returning two run-away minor girls to their home and preventing them from falling in the clutches of bad hands.
The run-away girls were identified as Sameena Begum, daughter of Mohd Alam age about 12 years and Taslima daughter of Mohd Rafiq age about 13 years both residents of area near Jama Masjid Bathindi, Jammu.
The girls boarded the train Pooja Express at Jammu Railway Station and de-boarded at Railway Station Kathua. Men of GRP Jammu observed the confused expressions of the said girls keenly. After polite and homely discussions with the girls, their whereabouts were got and their family members were contacted. On being familiar with the actual story of run-away minor girls, the matter was brought to the notice of Suram Singh, SP Railways Jammu by the SHO for the time being and on the directions of SP Railways Jammu the girls were handed over to their parents. The parents of the girls lauded the role of GRP men.
