| NABCONS conducts one day awareness programme | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Feb 24 : NABCONS conducted one day awareness progra-mme on commodity markets for PACS, Bankers, Traders at district Ramban on Tuesday. According to press release, the refresher programme on Commodity trading for PACS Traders was organized by NABARD Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (NABCONS) at Ramban. The work shop was attended by 30 participants from PACS and trading background. Waqar Ahmed Giri Dy. Registrar Cooperatives Dist Ramban was guest of honour, LDM Ramban and FLCC Ramban were also present.
Asst. Project Manager, NABARD, Nikhil Sharma welcomed the participants and outlined the details of the programme by briefing the distinguished guests about the workshop.
He highlighted that PACS which act as an aggregator of the farmers produce, that price discovery and better price realization to their produce are main objectives of commodity futures market and with the help of Power point Presentation on projector; PACS/Traders were thoroughly briefed about the whole concept of Commodity Trading.
Beside, participants present also participated in the programme with queries, suggestion, views etc.
The participants were very much in praise for NABCONS for sharing the same.
Dy. Registrar left the meeting with the note that they are going to implement what they have learned from the progr-amme and stressed upon the member of the PACS to implement it at ground level and make more and more use of Future markets to secure better realization to their produce. |
