UDHAMPUR, Mar 19 : An inter departmental quiz competition was organized in Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur on March 19, 2015. The objective of the competition was to update the General knowledge of the students in the fields of science, sports, current affairs, social sciences etc. The programme was organized under the guidance of Asstt. Prof Shiva, I/C CCA wing of the College. Prof P.L.Suri, Principal of the college chaired the competition. Five students from each team namely A, B, C, D and E participated in the competition. The questions were based on general knowledge related to science, sports, current affairs, social sciences etc. Fifty five questions were asked in five rounds with a view to sharpen their memory and to enhance the knowledge of students. All the teams performed effectively in the competition. The competition among the teams remained quite close. On the basis of their performance, team D comprising of commerce students namely Prince, Diksha, Anup, Sunil and Anmol adjudged first in the competition, team C comprising of students namely Aman, Swati, Angad, Mitali and Sunali got second position and Sadaf, Dileep, Harsh, Rajinder and Sunil from team E got third position. Prizes were distributed to the winning teams by the principal of the College. Asst. Prof Sonika Gupta and Ankita Sharma conducted the proceedings of the quiz competition. |
