NSUI protests against BJP's over India-Pakistan relations | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: National Students' Union of India (NSUI) held a strong protest demonstration outside the Jammu University Campus against BJP government at Centre and termed it a certified U-turn sarkar by burning effigies of Modi government. The protesters were led by Neeraj Kundan, State President of NSUI and accompanied by other members of NSUI State committee. Addressing protesting student activists and media persons, Kundan said that BJP is following a double standard in dealing with the matters with Pakistan. He also added that in twin attacks at Kathua and Samba districts BJP has not even spoke a single word and union MOS V.K.Singh has attended Pakistan Day parade along with Hurriyat leaders at Pakistan high commissioner in Delhi. Kundan further added that before coming into power BJP always spoke big words and made large speeches on the issue of terror attacks and also raised a great hue and cry in social media on the meeting of Dr. Manmohan Singh with Nawaz Sharif. In a recent interview, Modi said that in the blasting sounds of bombs,no one can listen each other's voice but at this point of time, when twin bomb blasts took place in samba and kathua, modi led govt. is busy in engaging talks with pakistan, which is a very sadful story to narrate. After election and coming into power they forgot all their speeches and promises made to the people. They have started sympathizing with separatists and hurriyat leaders. Agitated NSUI activists raised slogans against Pakistan and BJP, Modi sarkar and said that it is very unfortunate that the promises and speeches made by BJP leaders especially Narendra Modi are contrary to the actions they are doing after coming into power. Other main NSUI leaders who were present in the protest demonstration included Nasib Ali, Ajay Kumar, Sahil Singh Langeh, Ranjodh Singh, Mehram Anjum, Shahbaz Kohli, Satvinder Singh, Imran Akram and many others. |
