| Asiya celebrates Pak day, BJP legislators act as mute spectators | | Forget retrieving PoK, deporting fanatic elements | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after assuming power in Jammu and Kashmir has taken a U-turn on many issues and seems least bothered about what is happening in the state. The BJP leaders who used to leave no stone unturned to preach patriotism till the recent past and used to advocate sending separatists to Pakistan for preaching secessionism are so busy in rejoicing the fruits of power that they have maintained criminal silence over Dukhtaran-e-Millat (a radical women separatist organization) celebrating Pakistan day in Kashmir.
The DeM Chief Asiya Andrabi on the occasion of Pakistan Day organized a gathering in Srinagar and hoisted the Pakistan flag to prove her loyalty towards the country which has been promoting terror and violence in Jammu and Kashmir for the past 25-years.
She openly claimed that she is a Pakistani and wants to make Kashmiris aware about the importance of the Pakistan Day. Asiya thanked Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi for inviting her to attend Pak day celebrations in New Delhi, where Kashmiri separatists made a bee line, and enjoyed a hearty dinner.
It's really strange and amazing that BJP which won 25 seats in the last assembly elections and is an important constituent of the PDP led government has not uttered a word over Asiya challenging JK's accession with India and making all the possible attempts to appease her bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC). It's an open secret that people like Asiya are on the payroll of the ISI, a spy agency of Pakistan, which has been instrumental in killing Kashmiri Muslims and rendering thousands of Kashmiri Pandits homeless.
One wonders what has happened to BJP stalwarts who used to claim that if their party forms the government in JK they would ensure that the part of Kashmir which has been occupied by Pakistan would be retrieved back. BJP leaders after becoming ministers have gone into a shell and are least bothered about anyone hoisting Pakistan flag or advocating JK's merger with Pakistan. They retrieving PoK was nothing more than a slogan.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "BJP got votes in Jammu by raising the slogan of Baharat Mata ki Jai,after assuming power they have forgotten their Mata, had they not forgotten her they would have mustered some courage and issued a statement to condemn the acts of fanatic elements like Asiya Andrabi, or could have demanded sending them to jail."
"People were of the opinion that if BJP becomes the part of the government there would be no place for the fanatic elements like Asiya Andrabi in Jammu and Kashmir. We had thought BJP government would deport her to Pakistan as she is their agent. BJP leaders not uttering a word, has shocked the people who voted for the party in the recent assembly elections," he added.
If BJP leaders don't wake up and take on the traitors like Asiya Andrabi the day is not far when people would come out on streets and would launch an agitation against the same BJP legislators whom they voted to power. |
