GCE organize extension lecture on 'Present status of Hindi in Modern India' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: Government College of Education, Jammu today organized an extension lecture on the topic "Present status of Hindi in modern India". According to press release, Dr. Raj Rani, a senior faculty member from Government Degree College, Bishnah was the resource person. In her presentation she focused on the significance of Hindi as a medium of Adhann Pradhaan of thoughts in our day to day life. The presentation was followed by interactive session in which numbers of questions were asked by the participants which were clarified by the resource person in a most simple and impressive way. Prof. Sunita Gupta, H.O.D Department of Hindi presented a brief report about the various initiatives taken by the department in further popularizing the subject among students. Prof.(Dr.) Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of Prof. Sunita Gupta in providing the platform to the staff and students to interact on the various issues related to the significance of the subject. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof.(Dr.) Jyoti Parihar. Others who were present on the occasion were Prof. Baljinder Kour, Prof. Radhika Mahajan, Prof. Tahira Shah and Prof. Neelam Dhar and Prof. Satish Sharma. |
