| Social Welfare awareness camp held | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Mar 23: Social Welfare Department organised a one day awareness camp at Ramban here today.
According to press release, Assistant Commissioner Development, Ramban Arvind Kirwani was the chief guest on the occasion, DSWO, DIO, CDPO, were the resources persons and PRIs, Anganwari workers and large number of general public attended the function.
DSWO, Ramban Varun Jeet Singh Charak apprised the participants about the Schemes and Assistances being provided to the disabled persons, needy and weaker section of the society under different State as well as centrally sponsored schemes.
He informed that such Awarness camps were also organised in far-flung area of district Ramban such as Gool and Sangaldan. He also assured the public more awareness camps would be organise in remotest area of district in near future.
Speakimg on the occasion ACD appreciated the role of Social Welfare department for organising the awareness camp and making people aware about various welfare schemes.
He stressed the participants to take maximum benefit of the scheme of Social sectors and other line departments and also impressed the department that such awareness camp may be organised at Panchyat level so that the rural masses can be made aware about the schemes and implement the scheme with dedication. |
