Court denies bail to in laws in dowry death case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Mohan Singh Parihar today rejected the bail application of Sudesh Kumari mother-in-law and Angad Kattal brother-in-law of deceased Neha Narania, who were allegedly involved in dowry death case. After hearing both sides, 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Mohan Singh Parihar observed that the offences against the accused are serious in nature and offences are against the society. With these observations Court rejected the bail application. According to the police case the complainant- the father of the deceased lodged a report with police that his daughter was missing from his in laws house and lodged a missing report. On March 29, 2015 the Police Station Akhnoor received information that a dead body of a female is lying on the bank of river chenab at Sangrampur and after completion of the investigation and postmortem body was handed over to her hiers for performing last rites and police registered a case u/s 306 RPC and after recording the statements of witnesses, police arrested in-laws and husband.
