Geelani, Abdullah blame Mufti for BJP entry into Kashmir | Towards disintegration of State | | ET Report Jammu, May 13: Pakistani agent and mercenary Syed Ali shah Geelani and patron of NC and former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah Tuesday spoke in one language and charged patron of PDP and CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed with facilitating the entry of the BJP into the state apparatus. Geelani tore into Mufti while talking to former Chief Justice of Pakistan-occupied-J&K Syed Manzoor Hussain Geelani at his Hyderpora residence and Farooq Abdullah during an interview to a local English language daily. Syed Ali Shah Geelani has been under house arrest since May 5. Strangely, he has been conducting his anti-India activities from his residence through his followers. Talking to the former Chief justice of PoJK, Geelani said the Kashmiri people were passing through "very tough times" of their history and added that the "communal forces" of India -- BJP and RSS -- have first time got a direct entry into the administration of Kashmir and they wanted to implement their long pending agendas of changing the Muslim identity, demography and the status of the Kashmir dispute as soon as possible. By forging an alliance with the BJP, Mufti Sayeed "opened the doors for the implementation of wicked policies of RSS and willing or unwilling, he has to be the facilitator for all this process," he also told the visiting former Chief Justice. As for the out-of-power and defeated Farooq Abdullah, he said: "I am of the belief that Kashmiri Muslim will never side with BJP, even if they (BJP) jump from the sky. Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has paved way for BJP's entry into the State. We were in an alliance with BJP, but I didn't allow BJP flags to be waved outside Civil Secretariat. The BJP has befooled Mufti. They couldn't befool us, but they managed to befool Mufti,. The BJP's agenda is same as that of Shyama Prasad Mukherji -ek pradan, ek vidhan, ek nishan (one leader, one nation, one symbol). We are not fools here, we know everything". Both Geelani and Farooq Abdullah tore into Mufti for no reason. Their view that the BJP has entered into the state's political establishment was not well-founded. It is true that the BJP is part of the government, but they should know that the BJP is in the government only in name. It is not the BJP that has been setting the agenda or playing any important shot or taking any important policy decision; it is the PDP that has been taking policy decisions and implementing the same meticulously and ruthlessly. There is no say whatsoever of the BJP in the governance of the state. In fact, Mufti is using the good offices of the BJP to get his political agenda implemented. Geelani and Farooq Abdullah should congratulate Mufti for his handling of the BJP. The BJP has not gained anything; it has lost everything, including its very credibility by forging an alliance with a Kashmiri party. The opposition of Geelani and Farooq Abdullah to Mufti is opposition just for the sake of opposition and a desperate attempt to misguide the gullible Kashmiri Muslims. |
