Jammu, May 13: The Vice Chairman JDA Mubarak Singh conducted tour of various areas to take stock of the developmental activities and to monitor the progress of works at upcoming Housing Colonies at Gole Gujral Roop Nagar, Muthi, Talli Morh, Jagti, Nagrota etc.
During his tour he inspected the works of vegetable Market Commercial Complex and construction of flats at Muthi. He issued on spot instructions to Superintending Engineer JDA and other officers of engineering wing to pace up the execution of works and he stressed for construction of projects within stipulated time, as construction of 72 Nos. flats and commercial complex have been taken up under self financing basis and directed that no revision or cost escalation in all these projects shall be permissible.
He also visited the sites at Jagti and Nagrota for proposed Housing Colonies, it was disclosed that JDA is proposing to developed approximately 400 residential plots in these two colonies besides developing residential plots for which the proposal is being submitted to the Higher Authorities. The Secretary, DLM, SE, CTP, Sr. Architect and Executive Engineer accompanied the Vice Chairman JDA. |
