Jammu, May 13: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) team carried out the sanitation drive in ward no: 27,28,29,33,48,&48 which started from Mahesh Pura Chowk Bakshi Nagar.
According to press release, on the spot assessment of the sanitary conditions and performance of other Municipal services was made and necessary instructions were issued for improvement of civic amenities.
The public representatives highlighted their respective charter of demands which includes proper functioning of existing Water Coolers, functioning of High Mast Lights as well as repair of existing street lights, repair of lanes/drains. The Officers assured to the local citizens that all the issues shall be redressed on priority.
The other Officers/ Officials accompanying the driver were Chief Transport Officer, Sanitation Officer, Sanitary Inspectors and some prominent citizens namely Karan Sat Sharma, Sanjay Sawhney, Ayodhya Gupta etc.
JMC also appealed to the general public that house hold waste may be properly got collected and disposed of at collection points / Municipal Bins through safaikaramchari to ensure proper cleanliness in their respective localities and to make Jammu city neat and clean. |
