LoC Trade: Committee to look into registration, other issues

SRINAGAR, May 13: In order to ensure smooth and efficient Cross LoC trade through Uri, a meeting of traders was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmad Shah Wednesday.
"A comprehensive discussion was held over the methods to improve LoC trade through Uri. It was decided that a Committee will be constituted for looking into the registration of the traders and their issues. Moreover, roster system will be followed that will help keeping track of active traders," an official statement said.
Speaking on this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner assured the traders that the Cross LoC trade through Uri will be strengthened. He expressed his view of encouraging the traders. "Every step will be put in place for the smooth progress of the trade."
