Commisioner JMC interacts with CCI-J members, trading community | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Soujanya Sharma alongwith Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shubha Mehta today visited Chamber House and interacted with the office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) Jammu and representatives of different Trade and Market Associations who were present in the meeting. At the outset President CCI Jammu, Rakesh Gupta welcomed the Commissioner JMC and Shubha Mehta AC Revenue. While speaking on the occasion Commissioner JMC, Soujanya Sharma assured the Chamber that he will do his best to address all the problems /issues raised in this meeting. He also pointed out that in near future Jammu will get 3-4 parking slots and the garbage picking will be made in the early hour of the morning for which JMC has already purchased more garbage pickup vans. He also informed the gathering that he has already taken up the matter relating to damaged roads of Jammu City with the concerned quarters and assured that soon all the roads of the Jammu will be repaired accordingly. In his address, President CCI, Jammu Rakesh Gupta stressed for developing parks, amusement parks, artificial lake and Gandola etc. CCI Jammu president also lauded Commissioner JMC, Soujanya Sharma for his vision and constructive approach in solving various problems pertaining to various department where he has already worked. Speaking on occasion Arun Gupta Secretary General CCI-Jammu also highlighted various issues including identification of Parking space, provision of Sulabh toilets complexes and garbage lifting etc. The Commissioner JMC Soujanaya Sharma was also presented a Memento on the occasion. In the end, Sham Lal Langer Sr Vice President Chamber of Commerce & Industry presented vote of thanks. |
