Bhaderwah, May 13: Jammu and Kashmir PHE ITI Trained and CP workers Union today warned to launch indefinite strike if their demands are not met by May 20. The PHE IT trained workers declared that the agitation will be observed in entire state from May 20. The aggrieved union members, criticizing the PHE department hold strong protest and demonstration in the premises of filter plant, Bhaderwah where they raised slogans against the PHE administration which has failed to implement the demands of ITI trained casual labourers and workers which included regularization, release of pending salary and increase in salary. While addressing the protesting employees, District President of the Union Mohd Sajad Ganai alleged their regularization process on the pattern of previous government are being delayed by present government deliberately to harass the casual laborers and need basis workers of PHE department who are working from the last so many years and demanded regularization of their services and timely payment of their wages. Vijay Kumar, Suresh Kumar , Bhagat Singh , Ashraf Ahmed , Mohd Amin, Mushtaq Ahmed , Anayat Hussain and other leaders also spoke on the occasion and demanded that regular salary should come in the bank accounts of all the daily wagers without any break. |
