Kathua, May 13: District Congress Committee Kathua today lunched membership drive and nearly 2000 people came into party fold during last few days.
Subash Gupta, President Congress party Kathua district unit inaugurated the drive and urged the workers to motivate the aspirants to join Congress party for the development of the country and state.
While chairing a meeting with party workers hailing from District Kathua, President said the congress unit organized a meeting of party workers to intensify the membership drive where party workers should reach at booth level to motivate the people to join party.
Gupta said Congress has launched membership drive in real sense as people are expressing their interest in party. He said the drive would achieve the target of 1 lac from Kathua city and 5 lacs across the district practically. He said aspirants must fill form, paste photographs duly self attested unlike missed call facility provided by BJP. |
