Early Times Report JAMMU, May 31: Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu (CUJ) today flagged off a motor bikers' rally to Ladakh. The rally has been organized under the aegis of the Biker Brotherhood MC Club, India . Prominent biker of national repute and president of the club Jugraj Singh informed that twelve bikers led by ride Captain Harpreet Singh Sasan shall undertake the rally that will pass through the Mughal Road, Sonamarg, Kargil, Leh, Nubra, Pangong lake and culminate at Lahual Spiti. The Club has been playing a pivotal role for promoting tourism on the Mughal Road circuit. The rally has been organized to spread the message of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood, Jugraj said. VC CUJ, Prof Ashok Aima while speaking on the flag off ceremony wished all luck to the bikers and congratulated the Club for the Initiative. Prof Lokesh Verma, Academic Coordinator and HoD Education at CUJ presided over the flag off ceremony while Ranjeet Kalra, member BCCI, Rashid Choudhary, senior Congress leader, Sarbarider Singh incharge 4G Aircel J&K Circle and social activist Babar Afzal were special guests on the occasion. |
