Kishtwar, May 31 : The Three day science awareness Mela today started at Government Higher Secondary School Kilhotran which is being jointly organized by National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society (NCURDS) Jammu and Educational Environmental Social Sports and Cultural Society (EESSCS) Bhalessa.
The Mela was inaugurated by Mohammad Ayaz Mughal (District Education Planning Officer Doda) in presence of T.C. Sharma (Principal GHSS Kilhotran) and others. Earlier in his inaugural address Dr. Ashiq Hussain Program coordinator said that the program is being supported and catalyzed by National Council for Science and Technological communications (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India with the aim to inculcate scientific temperament among students, Teachers and common masses.
Various resource persons from Ghazi Abad Meerut, and Maharashtra will present various activities during the program which include Simple task Great concepts in science, Science Behind Miracles, Low cost no cost teaching aids, Puppetry, food adulteration besides quiz, debate, painting and model exhibition. |
