Doda, May 31 : A meeting of Citizens Forum was held here at Hotel Tak Residency Doda, presided over by Mirza Muzafer Hussain Beig chief patron of the forum. Besides the Forum members the meeting was attended by prominent citizens and representatives from all sections of the society. According to press release, the meeting was held to discuss the future course of action to be followed by the forum. Mehboob Ahmed Tak president of the forum highlighted the main aims and objectives of the Citizens Forum. He said that the forum will work for the cause of people and development of Doda irrespective of cast, creed or colour. The forum is a non-political organization meant for the holistic development of Doda constituency in general and Doda town in particular. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the forum will approach the elected members of Parliament and assembly for the pursuance of the mission.
Among others who were spoke on the occasion included Karamatullah Nehru president Beopar Mandal Doda, Rajeshwar Thusoo, Gian Chand, Ghulam Mohammad Malik Sarpanch, Vishwa Miter Farooq Misger and Sajad Khokhar. |
