Bovine animals rescued, two smugglers held | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, May 31 : Police today foiled a bovine smuggling bid when it arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued two animals from their clutches in Rajouri area. Police spokesman said that on specific information, a team led by SHO Sunderbani Inspector, Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Surgan Shukla, during intervening night of May 30 and 31raised a naka at Kund, Sunderbani. During naka checking, two bovine smugglers were carrying bovine animals from Akhnoor to Rajouri by foot. After questioning, the said persons failed to give satisfactory reply and were nabbed by police for smuggling bovines without any permission. Arrested bovine smugglers have been identified as Yash Pal and Ashwani Kumar both residents of Akhnoor. In this connection, a case against FIR No 39/2015 under section 188 of RPC 3 PCA stands registered at Police Station Sunderbani investigation is going on. |
