PDP organizes one day convention 5/31/2015 11:31:27 PM Early Times Report Kathua, May31 : People's Democratic Party today organized one day convention under the supervision of Mehboob Iqbal, State Gen. Secy. PDP wherein members from state unit and district unit were also present and reinforced the party workers to strengthen the party at Ward Level before Urban Body Election that would be conducted September-October this year. Party workers put out several issues being faced by workers without the existence of district body and demanded immediate election of district bodies. Surinder Singh, State secy. PDP expressed resentment and said few PDP ministers visited in Kathua city without informing to local leaders that would be affect Leaders' reputation among public. He demanded to have ward level committees before Urban body election. Mehboob Iqbal, state Gen. Secy. PDP who is also incharge of Udhampur Parliamentary constituency listened patiently and urged the workers to strengthen the party that must be the priority of each worker.
