3 drug peddlers held with 3700mg heroin 5/31/2015 11:31:34 PM RAJOURI, May 31: Rajouri police today arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered 3700 mg of heroin from their possession. Police spokesman said that as a part of special drive against drug menace launched by Rajouri Police, Party under the supervision of DySP Operations Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO Rajouri Inspector Yashpaul Singh on the direction of SSP Rajouri Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered 3700 mg of Smack/Heroin from their possession which they were smuggling towards the desire destination via interior streets of city. The arrested have been identified as Shafiq Ahmed of Bella colony, Naseem Rajab Dar of Ward no 10 and Irfan of Kallar. "These drug peddlers were traveling on a without number bike from Jammu to Rajouri and a naka was laid at Kallar Chowk, Chingus where they were intercepted," said police spokesman. In this connection, a case against FIR No 287/2015 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri and further Investigation was going on to unearth the modus operandi of the drug paddlers and their nexus with other local and non-local associates.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
