JAMMU, May 31: To commemorate 617th Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Maharaj, the Joint Celebration Committee (JCC), All J&K Bhagat (Megh) Biradri is going to organize a series of programmes on June 2.
Inform the general public particularly the Kabir followers about the programmes during a press conference here today, the president All J&K Kabir Sabha FC Bhagat, president Bhagat Mahasabha Mohinder Lal and president Megh Sudhar Sabha BL Bhagat said that the celebrations of Parkash Utsav of Kabir Maharaj will start with the garlanding of Sant Kabir's statue at Kabir Rotary near Bus Stand and thereafter a procession followed by jhankies will be started from MAM Stadium Jammu viz Vikram Chowk, Hotel Asia, Gandhi Nagar, Nai Basti and culminated at Govt. School Satwari.
Besides the other programme a Satsang will also be organized wherein Baba Bhagwan Dass Ji, Udhas Marg RS Pura, Baba Dina Nath Ji (Punjabwale), Baba Milkhi Ram, Gordawale and Mahant Ajay Dass Ji will throw light on the life and philosophy of Sant Samrat Kabir Mahraj Ji.
Joint Celebration Committee of Kabir Jayanti has requested the Municipal Commissioner, JMC Jammu Chief Engineer PHE, PDD to provide the sanitation, drinking water facilities and uninterrupted power at MAM Stadium and Satwari Chowk where the main function will be celebrated.
Joint Celebration Committee also appealed to the youth of the community to come forward and be a part of the Shoba Yatra and other programmes. |
