JAMMU, May 31:The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has successfully conducted hassle free CET, 2015 in which record number of 28,366 candidates appeared in 47 Test Centres (27 at Srinagar and 20 at Jammu). The BOPEE had to constitute, for the first time, some more Test Centres, both at Jammu and Srinagar (which included Delhi Public School Athwajan, Public Service Commission, Solina, Rambagh, Govt Hr. Sec. Boys and Girls, Soura, Srinagar and Shastri Nagar, Jammu and had to increase seating capacity of the other centres with their consent. This successful conclusion of the Entrance Test was not possible without the unflinching support of the Government as well as Private Institutions, both in terms of men and material. The BOPEE officials took it unto themselves to complete this marathon exercise within the shortest possible time by working non- stop, beyond calendar hours, for which BOPEE family deserves credit that includes a strong contingent of more than five thousand committed supervisory staff who were engaged at different centres, Government Observers, Members of Monitoring Squad of Universities of Kashmir, Jammu, SKAUST (Kashmir and Jammu), CUK and NIT , Principals of College /Intermediate College Centres/Coordinators/Control Room Incharges/Officials of Collection Centres of Jammu and Kashmir, Controllers of Universities of Jammu and Kashmir, NIT, Registrar SKAUST-K and Jammu and staff of BOPEE, non teaching staff of Universities of Kashmir and Jammu, the Faculty, both teaching as well as non teaching, of Central University Kashmir engaged to man the Test Centre constituted in Public Service Commission, and Police personnel.
