Jammu, June 5: Five hundred students of different educational institutions from Jammu and Kashmir got ten day military training here in NCC training camp, Nagrota, which was concluded today. Besides usual NCC Training the students went through activities including firing, running, crawling,yoga and others. According to spokesperson, the training camp was held under the supervision of Colonel Monisha, SRS, Commanding Officer 2nd J&K battalion NCC. "The training resource instructors were Suberdar Major Partap Singh and Subedar Suraj Parkash, the spokesperson said. "On the completion of training programme, the participating students presented colorful cultural programme, the statement said, adding, "the aim of the cultural programme was to enthuse patriotic sense among the students. Colonel Naveen, Commander of 5 Garhwal Rifle also was present on this occasion. Concluding the event the meritorious students were given prizes. |
