| MP defeats Bangalore in All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 | | | Early Times Report
Doda, June 5: Madha Pradesh registered enthralling win over Bangalore by 29 runs in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium Doda today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank, Natnoo Furnishing House Doda and Green Model Hr Sec School Doda.
Earlier after winning the toss first, Madhya Pradesh elected to bat first Batting first, Madhya
Pradesh and set a target of 93 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 10 overs game. Saransh was the highest scorer from Madhya Pradesh who scored 39 runs while Prashant contributed 29 runs for the team.
From Bangalore, Ashok, Mahesh took 3 wickets while Prem Ram took 2 wickets.
In reply, Bangalore team failed to chase down the target and scored only 64 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs. Rajesh, being the highest scorer, scored 15 runs while Vignesh contributed 11 runs for his team, while from Madhya Pradesh, Prashant bowled superb bowling and clinched 3 wickets while Nishant took 1 wicket.
Later on Prashant of Madhya Pradesh was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Sanjay Chouhan, as Umpires where Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as Scorer. |
