Jammu, June 5: Twenty Fourth Annual World Business Congress of International Management Development Association (IMDA), USA hosted by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Famagustra, North Cyprus was held during May 27th-31st, 2015 where Prof (Dr) D Mukhopadhyay, Dean Faculty of Management, SMVDU presented a paper entitled "Adoption of Banking Technologies in Jammu and Kashmir Region of India: An Empirical Study Jointly authored by Prof. D Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Pabitra Kumar Jena, Assistant Professor, School of Economics SMVDU in the said Congress. The theme of the Congress was "Regional and International Competitiveness: Defining National and Governmental Drivers of Productivity, Efficiency, Growth and Profitability". The Paper Presented by Prof. Mukhopadhyay was included under the sub-theme of the Congress entitled "Global challenges in Technology Management". More than one hundred delegates deliberated and took part in the Congress. Countries represented at the Congress include Denmark, India, Kuwait, Macau, Mexico, Morocco, Peoples Republic of China, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America. The Congress offered a board range of professional and academic sessions and the educational and cultural aspects of the globe was staged in this Congress during a period of five days. The reporter of the Congressed interacted with the delegates intensively and exchanged ideas and thoughts concerning management of business and economies of the represented countries. |
