HC notice to DC Pulwama over ex-MP Ratanpuri 6/6/2015 12:02:07 AM Srinagar, June 5: The J&K High Court has issued a notice to Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, asking him to explain why action may not be taken against him for issuing order to dispossess former parliamentarian Ghulam Nabi Ratanpuri from official accommodation. Counsel for Ratanpuri said that order (No. 260-DDCP of 2015 dated 02-06-2015) was issued without an enquiry as contemplated in terms of the court's directions on May 1. "It is stated by counsel for the petitioner that the order per se amounts to contempt of the court," a Bench comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi issued notice to the Deputy Commissioner.
