Early Times Report Kargil, June 5: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and languages in collaboration of Kaarvan-e-Adab today felicitates the daughter of the soil and renowned Ladakhi Archeologist Dr. Sonam Spalzin for her latest publication titled "gSter-Nying-Arceological Remains of Ladakh" in a function held at Academy Hall. According to press release, the programme was organized in the Academy Hall in which different age poets of Kargil participated and recited their poetry. As many as 10 poets from different part of Kargil recited their compositions in different languages. Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Chairman Haji Anayat Ali was the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner, Kargil as Haji Hassan Khan and Assistant Director Tourism, Sayed Towha was the guests of Honor on the occasion. The English book entitled gSter-Nying-Arceological remains of Ladakh was released by the Haji Anayat Ali. After the release of the book, the author Dr. Sonam Spalzin shared her experience with the writer's fraternity about the Arceological Remains of Ladakh and outside world presented over there. Dr. Sonam Spalzin said that the book released at this platform will prove fruitful for the writer's community. Speaking on the occasion, Haji Anayat Ali, Chairmain, lauded the efforts of the Academy in organizing such programme in the high Himalayan region. He appreciates and congratulates writer's fraternity and J&K Cultural Academy Kargil. The poets who recited their poetry on the occasion include Al-Haj Sadiq Ali Sadiq, Akhoone Asgar Ali Basharat, Ahmad Jawan Jawan, Muhammad Hussain Fayaz, Sipte-e-Kaleem, Ali Khan Sabeel, Naseer-ud-Din Khafi, Raza Amjad Budgami.
