Jammu, June 5: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today held an emergency meeting in which they appealed people of Jammu to maintain peace and communal harmony.
According to press release, NCP state president Thakur Randhir Singh has condemned shooting of a Sikh youth by the Police. In a resolution the party has conveyed the heartfelt sympathies to the deceased family members.
They demanded high power enquiry against the killing of the youth and has appealed to all communities in the Jammu to bring peace and tranquility in the town which has already suffered a lot. Others who attended the meeting include Krishan Kumar Digra, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray, Javed F Rehman , R S Billowaria, Ch Dev Raj, Sandeep Manhas, Gourav Kapoor , Abhimanyu Pratap Singh Jamwal, Amit Singh Datta , Tandeep Singh and R C Bali. |
