
JAMMU, July 19: Khalsa Cricket Club outplayed Maltu Cricket Club Pathankot by 20 runs to strengthen their position in the Bhalwal Premier League-two at Bhalwal, near here. Earlier, batting first, after Maltu won the toss and opted to field, Khalsa made 95 runs losing all their wickets in 12 overs of the 20 overs game. Ankush made 26 runs while Sourav contributed 15. In reply, Maltu Club could not chase the total and bowled out for 75 runs in 12 overs. Maltu remained highest scorer with 27 runs and Sukhi added six-ball 14. For his all four wickets haul, Monu was declared man of the match. In this match, Shanker Singh Langeh was chief guest, who gave away Rs 500 cash prize each to the teams and also extending a financial help of Rs 11,000 to the organisers for the successful conduct. Also present were members of the organising committee including Sarpanch Rajdev Singh Jamwal, Kapil Jamwal, Rimmu Jamwal, Simmpu Jamwal and Bobby Jamwal.
