Katra, July 19: Teachers, who were known from the ancient times as career builders without seeking personal benefits, are known for some other reasons now-a-days. A few teachers in the Government Higher Secondary School, Katra, were alleged to be ignoring those students who were not taking private tuitions from them. Sources alleged that some of the school teachers were favouring those students who were taking tuitions from them. In the 11th class examinations also, they were alleged to have favoured these students, sources said These teachers were alleged to have remained biased towards those students who had not taken tuitions from them. Sources said it was surprising to find that five of the students -- Sahil Kumar, Mohd. Shahbaz Khan, Bhanu Partap Singh, Arjun Singh and Natish Sharma -- had passed matriculation examination in first division but all of them failed in 11th class. Khushi Mohammad, the parent of a failed student said, "My son is a meritorious student but he failed in 11th class. I find it hard to digest it. I feel his result is wrongly prepared."
