JAMMU, July 19: District Governor of RID 3070 K K Dhir today installed Sumil Goyal as President of Rotary Club Jammu Aastha during a function which was held at Amar Singh Club.
Other Board of Directors installed include Surinder Bansal, Vice President and President Elect, Arvind Gupta, Secretary, Deepak Sethi, Treasurer, Vipan Bhasin, Joint Treasurer, Sahil Chopra, Sgt-at-arms, R S Goel as Club Trainer.
Earlier, DG K K Dhir conducted Governor official visit of the club. He lauded the projects being done by the club for the welfare of the community and impressed upon doing permanent project with the help of Global Grant from Rotary Foundation.
Master of Ceremony, V.M. Goyal conducted the proceedings of the Installation ceremony. Outgoing President Amit Gupta and Secretary Surinder Bansal presented a detailed report of the projects carried out during the last year. Assistant Governors Dushyant Choudhary and Chander Goel alongwith President, Secretaries and Senior Rotarians of other clubs of Jammu, Samba, SIDCO and Akhnoor were also present. |
