LIC holds awareness meet

JAMMU, July 19: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (P&GS) Jammu Unit held an awareness meeting of Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana with Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma at Jammu today.
The LIC Officials T.S.Bali, Sr. Divisiona Manager, Divisional Office Srinagar, H.L. Pandita, Sr. Branch Manager (P&GS) Unit Jammu and Kuldeep Bhat, Administrative Officer (P&GS) Jammu briefed the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and the claim procedures i.e. settlement of death claims under the scheme.
The scheme provides risk cover of Rs. two lakh to bank account holder between 18 yrs to 50 yrs of age, due to accident or natural death with a very low premium of Rs. 330/- per annum.
